People of the 1920′s thought of prohibition as a terrible thing. While it was tough at the time, we can only appreciate it these days as a movement that shaped the drinking culture forever. In honor of our ancestor’s bold actions to keep tasteful adult beverages alive, Muse is hosting a Prohibition Night on Thursday, August 2.
The restaurant which already boasts a unique interior will transform into a Roaring 1920′s Speakeasy for an evening of their special prohibition themed menu, bathtub gin, and tastings from Black Walnut Winery and Philadelphia Distilling (i.e. the proud distillers of Bluecoat Gin, Penn 1681 Vodka, Vieux Carre Absinthe and XXX Shine White Whiskey).
The event will kick off at 6:30 pm with the 1920′s fun continuing until 9:00 pm. Guests are invited to bring their own alcohol to the regular B.Y.O.B, especially the popular prohibition type! Some other exciting happenings are likely to unfold but you’ll have to attend for the surprise. Snag your spot by calling 610.998.1308 or visiting the website.
