  • My husband, brother and I went to Newton’s around 6 pm last evening (Sunday) with our two little ones (3 year old and 1 year old). We were seated quickly but had a longer than desired wait for our meal, despite their not being busy. Upon looking at the menu we were told they were out of sweet potato fries; then when I ordered chicken montrachet we were told they were also out of that, which was disappointing. I ended up just ordering the pork BBQ sandwich, which was pretty standard so no complaints. We got the artichoke and spinach dip appetizer, which was great topped on the focaccia crustinis. My husband really enjoyed his Corona Cob and my brother thought his crab porcini fettuccine was really good although he commented that he thought his might have been done first because it was a little tough on top (perhaps from being under the lights?). Our service wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible. I might give our visit a B- for service and a B+ for food.
