Bred a full-blown PA Dutch gal, Amy Strauss is a Philly suburb-based food fiend who lives to chomp up-and-down the East Coast. Weaving through the latest brewpubs and craft breweries, up-and-coming bakeries and eclectic eateries, this twenty-something aims to live her food life as seen on an edible Travel Channel episode and always dashes to eat dessert first.
Jim Breslin prefers cheeseburgers over filet mignon and porter over pilsner. He once ordered and ate Six Meats and Sauerkraut in Luxembourg, though he didn’t finish the tripe. He’s fumbled with chopsticks in Beijing, eaten conch fritters in Grand Cayman and fish and chips in Australia. His biggest dining faux pas? Asking a Quizno’s employee in Toronto for American cheese. At home, he is known for homemade pizza, stromboli, and killer enchiladas. Jim is also the founder of the West Chester Story slam and a fiction writer. His first collection of short stories, Elephant, is best served with Victory Hopdevil or a a chilled Pinot Grigio.
Raised on a mix of authentic Italian cuisine and the German meat n' potato diet, Angela is a goofy food enthusiast who believes there is no such thing as too much garlic. She's giddy about trying nutritious recipes from all over the world, but refuses to measure ingredients. If you can't find her at the nearest Mexican restaurant, food or beer festival, she's most likely enjoying an adventurous outdoor activity.
A lover of both the sweet and the savory, Michele never met a cupcake or a French fry she didn't like. Raised in a home with bread and butter on the table at every meal, Michele became enamored of more adventurous fare while working in the publishing world in New York City. Now happily housed in Brandywine Country and the proud mom to a crab cake aficionado, she and her family make it their goal to try each new local restaurant as it opens.
When she's not crunching numbers and balancing the books, Shannon moonlights as a bartender and waitress at a country club. Shannon is a Philly loyalist at heart. She loves checking out new restaurants, supports live (local) music, and will never turn down tickets to see a Phillies game.

Nina's true passion is reflected in the images she captures. She has chronicled life, love and laughter from her home in Chester County clear across the USA to the Pacific Ocean. Nina seems to be everywhere and always has her camera... so make sure you're smiling.
Ronna grew up in Northeast Philly and has had a love of dining out and trying new tastes her whole life. The daughter of supermarket owners, she spent her youth browsing never ending aisles of food, checking out huge walk in refrigerators, and reading food labels. She still enjoys spending hours walking through markets.
Ronna began her love affair with beer at Penn State, where she originally learned to order "what’s cheap tonight" beer. After meeting her husband in 1995, her tastes expanded to craft beer and the rest is history. She is President of the local women's social club, The West Chester Beer Ladies, mom to 3 children, and teaches Zumba® Fitness (so that she can eat a lot of food and drink beer).
Phoenixville is where Kevin was born, brewed and aged in a barrel of flannel. Though a graphic designer by day, Kevin hopes to stretch his legs, liver and stomach by night and check out the local food scene. He may not be fluent in any language, but he sure knows "cheers" in German, Italian, Russian and Spanish!
Sarah's the owner of Juniper & Dash, an event planning and design company. She's lived in some pretty fun areas over the years but thinks the Northeast is the place to be! She loves pretty much all food… except raw tomatoes & mushrooms -- they have weird textures! She's a BIG fan of Moscato and is sadly allergic to beer. She loves sitting outside to eat dinner in the city and admits that she is a horrible housewife -- she doesn't clean, there are always dishes in the sink, and her stuff consumes three quarters of the bathroom counter.
What firecracker red head loves eclectic cuisine, fine wine, craft beer and creative cocktails–Nina Malone, that's who. Mamma and Pappa raised her right, "making" her try new foods and she's embraced that mantra into her veggie-inspired lifestyle. A frequent traveler to Napa and Sonoma, Nina has an appreciation for great wine and can properly use words like “butter esters" ...and she's also never met a freshly-made seasonal micro brew she didn't like. When Nina’s not leading her team as they bring good-for-you Arbonne products to the masses, she and her hubs can be found with a libation in hand and a plate of something good on the table and telling us all about it.
A true locavore at heart, Claire Murray is happiest enjoying the diverse and delicious bounty of our local foodshed. When not writing for The Town Dish or growing produce for her sustainable farming operation — Inverbrook Farm — you can find Claire drinking local beer, listening to local music and eating whatever seasonal farm product is within her reach.
Sarah's dream job is to own a small cafe and bookstore and if that doesn’t work out she wants to be homeless in Europe. In the mean time she's exploring and reporting on the wide and wonderful world of WC Restaurants.

Nathan is a passionate foodie, avid home cook, and a lover of seasonal, sustainable eats. Half a dozen kinds of sea salt typically grace his pantry and a collection of single-origin chocolates his shelf. He loves to taste fine wine, beer, and spirits and then create delicious food pairings with them. Some of his favorite foods to cook are slow-cooked beans and homemade bread. When he’s not exploring the world of food you might find him playing music or enjoying the challenge of a cross-training workout.
When she isn’t running, trying new recipes with her family or scouring Craigslist for deals, this mother of two (super-cute little boys) spends her free time (what's that again?) editing for West Chester Dish. This 30-year-old editor in Southern Chester County is always looking for the next best Mexican restaurant, tasty ice-cream treats, local products to incorporate into her meals and kid-friendly places to enjoy with her family.
Greg was born and raised in Montgomery County, and currently resides in Northern Liberties. He is a Francophile, enjoys a good Hemingway novel, and loves going to concerts. He never misses an episode of Chopped or Mad Men, and is always on the quest for the perfect coffee and espresso.
