It’s time again for our Dish Fan of the Week Friday!
Friday’s winner will receive a complimentary pair of passports (a $60 value) to the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail‘s Harvest Festival! In its 9th year, the Harvest Fest of our local wine trail – which premieres this weekend, Sept. 24 – 25 and runs next weekend, Oct. 1 – 2, allows you to enjoy the sights and smells of the annual harvest while having an incredible time as the wineries’ celebrate their 2011 vintage!

I would kill for these passports, as my best galpal and I love Black Walnut, live in Phoenixville, and promote the Dish like it’s our jobs…. But we are both saving (she for her wedding and me for grad school), so these passports would afford us a much needed few days of bonding… Can we have them??? Pleeeeeaaase?

I’d love to check out the Harvest fest!! I’ve been meaning to go for a few years now… hoping to get outside and enjoy a beautiful fall weekend 10/1 and 10/2 with a nice glass of wine (or two, or three).
First off, I’m glad to see Dish in my hometown! Second, I would love these passports. Just started making wine with my parents this summer and we will have 5 gallons of Carménère and Malbec ready by the holidays, so I’m pumped to get some insider tips from our local winemakers!
I’m also excited to see Chaddsford Winery’s demo and punch recipe – and possibly get my hands on the French Oak barrel Penns Woods is raffling off…plus, if I get free passports I can buy more raffle tickets

We make this an annual event for our whole neighborhood – we rent a bus and hit all the wineries! It is a blast. I can’t wait to go next weekend:) Would love to win 2 passports!!!!! Would make my miserable, rainy day go away:)
My girlfriend and I enjoy supporting local wine makers, especially from the Chester County area. One of our first dates was taking the “Barrels on the Brandywine” tour, and it would be very fitting to celebrate 33 month of dating with some Black Walnut Pinot Noir and Paradocx Old Stone Chardonnay (two of our favs).
Our best friends and my family just moved to the area this year, and would LOVE the passes to get to know the wineries in the area!! We are already huge Dish fans, because it’s really helped us hear about all the great things going on around town. We are most excited about going to the live concerts and having a fun happy hour under the stars!!
My sister just moved here from California and is very upset to leave all the vineyards behind. I have been trying to tell her that PA has amazing wineries and would love to show her. Plus she just had identical twins so I know she would love to get out. Plus I have been dying to try Paradocx and would love to win the Aunthentic French Oak Barrel.
